Sun Sign gathers a body of vernacular works rooted in Marin and Bolinas. The exhibition marks the debut of Harrison’s new oil-painted woodcarvings, extending her ongoing dialogue with the myth, folklore, and everyday magic of coastal life.

A former Bolinas resident, Jessica Dean Harrison’s practice reflects a deep engagement with regional history and mysticism. In Sun Sign, she turns her attention to emblematic scenes of Bolinas life: the Labor Day Parade, the Stinson spring, and the Gospel Flat Farmstand — rendering the familiar with a sense of wonder and reverence.
